• Actively practiced insurance defense law, specializing in fraud investigations since 1994 for leading insurers including: American National Property and Casualty Insurance Company, CNA, United Services Automobile Associations (U.S.A.A.), Unitrin, American Agencies Insurance and Paragon Insurance Group. (Recipient of Appreciation Award for Support of the American National Property and Casualty MIST Unit, June 1999).
• Consistent record of success defending insurance companies from fraudulent claims and lawsuits in both jury and non-jury trials, motions and other proceedings, including mediation and arbitration.

• Extensive experience defending companies of all sizes in business litigation including DTPA claims and contract disputes.
• Frequent lecturer on Insurance Fraud Investigation and Defense, Texas Insurance Code and Consumer Protection issues to industry groups including: National Insurance Crime Bureau Academy; International Association of Special Investigative Units; Houston Claims Association; Dallas Claims Association; Houston Association of Certified Fraud Examiners; and individual Insurance Companies.
