Named a Super Lawyers Rising Star 2022-2024, Ms. Robards joined Bain & Barkley in 2024. A practicing attorney in Texas since 2016, Kim’s practice focuses on insurance defense and commercial litigation. Her extensive litigation experience includes pleading and motions practice, conducting discovery, witness/expert depositions, contractual drafting and negotiations, multidistrict litigation, as well as appeals in state and federal courts up to and including the Supreme Court of the United States. In addition to negotiating settlements and attending mediation, she has tried both jury and non-jury cases.

Kim graduated in the top third of her class at South Texas College of Law. She also served as a Member and Assistant Note and Comment Editor for the flagship law review. Kim is a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society and Wood Inn. She is certified as a mediator by the Frank Evans Dispute Resolution Center. Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas where she became a member of the Sigma Tau Delta honor society.
