Our Team

Ryan Lemens joined Bain & Barkley as an Associate Attorney in 2023. Ryan has extensive experience in insurance and commercial litigation as well as intellectual property and copyright law. His current practice is focused on first-party storm and transportation insurance defense litigation.  He also has experience with coverage analysis. 

Ryan has negotiated settlements, attended mediation, and tried both jury and non-jury cases. He was a National Finalist and Regional Champion in the Giles Sutherland Rich IP Moot Court Competition, a nationally-recognized intellectual property moot-court competition, where he also won Best Appellee Brief.

Ryan is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin School of Law. He also earned a B.B.A. in Business and a B.A. in Plan II Honors from The University of Texas.
